How to Use a VPN with the Dafabet App in India – Access from Restricted States
Indian gamblers face connection problems with betting platforms due to several reasons: ISP restrictions, network-level blocking, or the need for a more private connection. A VPN will re-route your connection through a server located in another geographical area, which makes it impossible to detect your IP address and network-level blocks.
Dafabet has a Curaçao license and allows Indian gamblers, and a VPN will provide the same access to the entire website and mobile application. Here, you will find the best VPNs for accessing and downloading Dafabet in India, how to set it up in less than 15 minutes, and how to resolve the most common connection issues.
Why Indian Players Use VPN with Dafabet
ISPs in India apply network-level filtering on selected domains. Certain network providers place gambling sites into filtered categories, which block access at the network level. Here are the main reasons why Indian gamblers use a VPN on Dafabet:
- Bypass ISP restrictions. A VPN transmits data through a third-party server. This evades network-level filtering applied by Indian ISPs;
- Personal data protection. A VPN encrypts all data transmitted between your device and the server. This prevents your ISP from monitoring your online activity;
- Public Wi-Fi security. Public networks are more vulnerable to data interception. A VPN secures your login and financial information;
- Uninterrupted access. Various ISPs use different restrictions. A VPN ensures uninterrupted access to Dafabet irrespective of your ISP and geographical position;
- Anonymity in payments. A VPN conceals the destination of your payments. This adds more privacy on deposits and withdrawals.
Is Using a VPN with Dafabet Legal in India?
The use of VPNs in India is a legal gray area. The Indian government does not ban VPN software. There is no law that makes the use of a VPN on a betting site a crime in India.
Dafabet has a license from Curaçao and allows Indian players to bet and gamble there. They do not ban VPN users by default, and they are more flexible with VPN users than other betting sites. It is not against the terms of service for Dafabet to use a VPN to access their site.

Why Free VPNs Are Risky
Free VPNs record your online activities and sell them to third parties to finance their operations. Free VPNs also have data limits, speed throttling during peak times, and fewer servers, which causes unreliable connections when live betting. Free VPNs also display ads in your browser or reveal your actual IP address due to DNS leaks. ProtonVPN is the only free VPN that does not have these problems, but it still restricts the number of servers and speeds compared to the paid version.

How to Optimize VPN Performance for Dafabet
A slow VPN connection impacts the live betting odds update and Cash Out response time. These tips will assist you in getting the best out of your VPN on Dafabet.
- For optimal speed. Always connect to the closest available server. Singapore and Hong Kong provide the lowest latency for most Indians;
- For live betting. Employ NordVPN or ExpressVPN on the fastest protocol (NordLynx or Lightway). Do not use free servers during IPL times;

Dafabet’s VPN Policy
Dafabet does not have a particular rule against the use of VPNs, and the site is quite lenient about VPN connections compared to other betting platforms. Users of trusted VPNs such as NordVPN or ExpressVPN will hardly ever experience any issues or warnings on their accounts at Dafabet. Connecting to a residential IP server will further minimize the risks of being detected. When your account is detected by the support team at Dafabet for using a VPN, you can immediately contact their live support team to have the problem sorted out.
Alternatives to VPN for Accessing Dafabet
A VPN is the best way to go, but there are a few alternatives that can be used by players who want to access Dafabet using a different solution.
- Change DNS settings. Change the DNS settings of your device to Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). This will help you bypass some domain restrictions imposed by your ISP without encrypting your traffic;
- Use mobile data instead of Wi-Fi. Mobile data and Wi-Fi have different filtering rules. If you are using Wi-Fi, try using mobile data and vice versa. This will solve your access problems in most cases;
- Dafabet mirror sites. Dafabet provides alternative links that can be used if the main domain is blocked. You can contact Dafabet support through live chat to get the latest mirror link;
- Proxy servers. A web proxy server forwards your traffic using a different IP address without installing a VPN. Proxies are less secure and slower than VPNs, but you can use them as a quick fix.
Conclusion
A VPN ensures Indian gamblers have uninterrupted access to Dafabet. NordVPN and ExpressVPN are the best VPNs for live IPL betting, and installation takes less than 15 minutes on any Android or iOS device. ProtonVPN protects gamblers who are interested in a free VPN with unlimited data. It is important to keep the VPN connection open throughout the entire gaming session and turn it off only when processing payments if your payment processor does not allow VPN connections. Use a no-logs VPN from a reputable provider, set a session budget before you start, and use Dafabet as entertainment.
