FAQs about eSIM
How to Confirm Whether the Device Supports eSIM?
To confirm whether your device is eSIM compatible, you can dial *#06# on your phone. If an EID number is displayed, then your device supports eSIM. Otherwise, you need to consult your mobile carrier for confirmation since the eSIM feature may vary by country or region you are in even if your device is eSIM compatible. Or you can contact the eSIM provider first before you make a purchase.
How to Make Phone Calls with eSIM？
This depends on the type of eSIM you purchase because generally, most eSIM plans are data only. If you do want to make phone calls while traveling, you can do it via social media like Instagram and WhatsApp. Additionally, you can also activate the local roaming call service for your existing SIM card or buy an eSIM card that comes with a phone number.
